Biography

Huo Jing, Director of the Department of Ophthalmology at Tianjin Public Security Hospital and Chief Physician, graduated from the Clinical Medicine Program of the Department of Medicine at Tianjin Medical University in 1990. She was promoted to Chief Physician in Ophthalmology in 2010 and is a member of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. In 1998, she pursued further training at Tianjin Municipal Eye Hospital. At the end of 2004, she joined the Tianjin Medical Aid Team to the Republic of the Congo for a two-year mission. During this period, she completed hundreds of various ophthalmic surgeries locally, earning praise from the local government and residents, and was received by Premier Wen Jiabao. In 2007, she pursued further training in oculoplastic surgery at the Ninth People's Hospital Affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She currently practices oculoplastic and aesthetic surgery, as well as surgery for ocular surface and lacrimal duct diseases, including double eyelid surgery, eye bag correction, epicanthoplasty, ptosis correction, lacrimal gland suspension, correction of entropion (ectropion), pterygium excision, excision of eyelid and periorbital tumors, orbital fracture repair, extracapsular cataract extraction with intraocular lens implantation, glaucoma filtering surgery, and the diagnosis and treatment of comprehensive eye diseases. She has published more than ten papers in core ophthalmology and professional journals at various levels.
